About
I’m Miriam Koh, an artist who creates playful illustrations of people. My work is inspired by children’s book illustrations. I help people to think about their fond memories from their childhood.
Miriam was a quiet girl who enjoyed drawing in her spare time. She would draw for her friends and would often write on the side to make a comic for her friends to read. She took Visual Arts in College. But she fell ill with Schizophrenia. Despite her hardships she continued to draw. Now she draws anything that brings her hope and peace. Miriam’s artistic mission is to bring hope and peace to her audience with her artworks. Miriam’s sketchy yet fluid contour lineworks bring the attention to her detail in every characters’ personality. Audiences will be able to connect with their child version of self and remember their fondest memories from the past.
